I started Bunpro a little over a month ago. Since then, every single day I’ve done 3 grammar points and all of my reviews. Tomorrow will be my last 3 grammar points for the N5 grammar. After that I’m going to focus on just the reviews and letting it really soak in. I’m also doing Genki simultaneously with an instructor, but I chose to not do the Genki track on this site so that I could focus on specifically the JLPT. I’m very happy I found this site, and I’m sure it’ll be very helpful for me. I’m planning to take at least the N5 at the end of the year since there’s a location like 3 hours by car from me. And if I study enough, I might be able to take the N4 by the end of this year. We’ll see
I come to this forum with the intent to post the exact same thing.
Congratulation! We have a long road ahead of us, but even small achievements like this one need to be seriously celebrated.
YO! Congrats, I just started yesterday, so seeing your post is really encouraging. I’m also reading Genki, and I find it interesting how grammer points like でしょう aren’t really covered in Genki I, but are covered here. It makes me feel like I’m covering all the bases. If you haven’t checked out Wanikani yet, I would highly reccomend it. It’s the same kind of SRS system, but for kanji.
Congrats! I’m doing the tobira track right now but felt the same thing while going through N5 vocab. If you can get through most of Genki 2, I think you can definitely challenge yourself for N4.
Congrats! N5 and N4 are the hardest parts imo. I´m in the midst of my N3 studies and most of the grammar is just learning a new vocab word or combining previous points. You´ve done 50% of the hardest part, your efforts will bear fruits in no time.
