Finally finished N5 Grammar!

Now to work on the N5 vocab deck. I’m relieved to have finally hit all the N5 grammar points and I’m looking forward to continuing to expand my use of the language.

In the past I’ve gotten used to using very basic/broken Japanese with my girlfriend, but I’m making an effort now to practice actual grammatically correct (even if awkwardly polite with her) sentences in order to really work on my output. That, plus one journal entry per day, is my plan for output while I work on N5 vocab. Doing WaniKani on the side for Kanji (have done about ~500 kanji in RTK prior to that but decided it wasn’t worth it without learning readings).

I had a similar start! Keep consistent and enjoy the process. Some days (or weeks) will feel like you aren’t growing at all, but your brain is amazing and is constantly “making sense” of all of your input.

Great job, and keep it up!

Congrats! First milestone of many I’m sure, hopefully the grammar points you’ve learned up to this point are helpful in your day-to-day conversations!
