Getting the same example sentences

I’m not sure if it’s just my imagination, but it seems like I almost always get the same example sentences during reviews. With おく I always get the sentence about remembering 30(?) kanji, but there are also many different grammar points that give me the same example over and over again. At this point it feels more like flashcards than actually recalling how the grammar point itself works. There are usually around 12 example sentences, but I feel like I only get the samen 2 or 3 during reviews.

This is my first post, sorry if I’m breaking any rules!

Welcome to the forums!

You are probably seeing Ghost Reviews. This functionality shows you sentences that you have gotten incorrect more often, to reinforce your memory.

If you would like to turn these off, please go to Account → Settings → Ghost settings: off.

There is also minimal setting, that only adds an additional review to your review queue if you get the same sentence incorrect multiple times in a row.

I do like the idea of Ghost Reviews, but they seem to be the spawn of Satan for me :joy:
