Glitch with answers being marked wrong

I’m having an issue where I enter a review 100% correctly, which is also noted as correct during the review. At the end during the review summary, however, it shows the answer was wrong. This prevents the grammar point advancing.

This has happened twice in a row with でもある and I’ve noticed it with two other grammar items.

I reported it through the Contact Us system, but I noticed my last Contact Us request for a separate issue never received a response after 6 months.

Is anyone else experiencing this glitch?

Yes, as a fellow user, I have encountered this, though in my case not recently.
It seems it’s been continuing for a long time for you.

If staff don’t notice this thread, perhaps you could consider emailing them too?
I don’t know if there is any greater chance of them getting to your query that way, but at least the more ways you try the greater the chance of success!

Hi there!
Welcome to the community.

Sorry for the lack of correspondence with that bug.
In the past few months, we’ve tightened up how we filter feedback based on bugs vs. content, and they shouldn’t fall through the cracks anymore (especially the bug ones).

Anyway, back to the bug:

I’m having an issue where I enter a review 100% correctly, which is also noted as correct during the review. At the end during the review summary, however, it shows the answer was wrong.

One way this can happen is if you’ve answered the question wrong in a previous session, but didn’t wrap it up before exiting.
Do you always wrap up your sessions?

This prevents the grammar point advancing.

If it’s the case that it was a unwrapped-up-item, then it will indeed appear as if it’s not being updated correctly. The next time you review it, it should update correctly.

This is a hella confusing system regardless, and we have got a ticket open to de-fuck this way of doing things. I might need to give it a bump
