Ive noticed that I cannot find the てまで grammar point. Does it not count as a seperate grammar point? Or has it simply not been added yet? Or is it already here and Im just missing it? I looked through some まで grammar points and couldnt find it.
〜てまで, meaning roughly:
“even going so far as to…” / “even to the extent of…”
For example
(彼は) 家を売るまでその絵が欲しかった。
= “He wanted that painting until he sold his house.”
(彼は) 家を売てまでその絵が欲しかった。
= “He wanted that painting to the point that he sold his house.”
