I’m just came back from after a free trial last year so everything seem different to me, but I’m confuse on how is the “hourly review” work on Bunpro compare to Wanikani. So is Bunpro got a grammar review every hour or it is really spread out in comparison to Wanikani cause it just hit 12PM there aren’t a new grammar review, so do I need to change my setting or it is work as intended?
in the bunpro settings:
what bunpro calls “hourly review” is the same system as wanikani: you get new reviews at the start of the respective hour when they’d be due
with “daily reviews” you get all reviews of the respective day at once
I got this on but when it turn 12PM they didn’t show any review, so I don’t know if there something wrong with my setting or not.
what does the forecast say on your dashboard?
you don’t get a review every hour necessarily with hourly reviews
just on hours when they’d be due

well there you have it, you get your next review at 9 AM tomorrow if you have hourly reviews
Weird they don’t pile up like in Wanikani, so I got confused.
You probably don’t have a lot of stuff added yet?
Over time as you do more content you’ll get mountains of reviews. Don’t worry about it

Yeah I guess, I just return so I start from the very beginning with the grammar. Maybe that why it so little compare to Wanikani where I’m at level 31 on Wanikani so it it different.
Bunpro also has different SRS intervals. They grow slower and there are more of them. Also when you make a mistake, you go down one tier, not several like in WK. On WK you could be doing last review after 4 months, make a mistake, and see it again in a week, than next mistake drops it to next 4 hours.
In settings, you can control how far item drops after mistake and how long the intervals are.
