How am I supposed to know what to do here?

It’s unclear to me how I’m supposed to know what it wants here or in several other vocabulary such as ひびく. I read the sentence and recognized the kanji that I’m trying to learn, but like that only worked cause I added it today. Some example sentences seem to have highlighting and some don’t. The hints don’t even tell you what you’re supposed to do, they just provide a translation of the sentence IF EVEN. I find it very odd, am I missing something.

For other vocab it’s not like this.

Hmmm that seems like a bug, because if you look at the example sentences for that word on the vocab page, that sentence in particular does have a translation and the word is highlighted.

What review mode are you on?

I’m just using the normal reviews in the mobile app. Sorry, I don’t know about different modes.

So, I’m on mobile (web, not app) and this is what the review looks like for me for that same sentence.

Part of me wonders if maybe it is a bug on the mobile version? Tagging @veritas_nz for visibility (sorry if you don’t work on mobile, wasn’t sure which dev to tag!)

Interesting. Thank you for the insight and trying to get someone to look.

@UnluckyCat
Hey, it seems that the data you have is out of sync, go to the settings (dashboard → top left icon → now tap on the gear icon → search for reset data and tap it.)
Now you can either tap reset all data at the top left, or tap on user quiz data, vocab quiz data and review data.

It should fix the issue.

Sorry for the inconvienience,
Cheers!
