I understand that it takes a lot of efforts to create all the amazing materials on Bunpro, so I wonder what are the rules/license requirements for those materials if I were to use them for other purpose.

I don’t have a definitive answer, but as far as the general feelings of the company is concerned:
- Quoting the materials on internet forums like Reddit and Japanese Language StackExchange .
Should be fine, as long as users dont copy massive sections of Reading Passages or multiple sentences in a indexing/packaging way.
A few scattered things here and there is fine.
- Developing plugin/extensions to use with Bunpro, for either:
- Personal use
Fine
- Shared use for Bunpro users only, or
Fine
- Commercial use
Not sure. Though we don’t have publicly facing APIs, so probably something we’d think about when we get to that stage
