How do I mark an answer correct?

Today I had a slip of finger advance to the next exercise. I had a misspelled (typo) answer, but instead of using the backspace to retype the te back to re, I hit enter and now my 100% correct streak is broken. Considering you can never go back to 100%, I do not want a technical error blowing my sense of pride for the hard work I’ve done to be accurate. I will make a mistake, and many more after that, but I want my record to show that I was capable until I actually don’t know an answer. It really blows my confidence seeing my perfect steak broken.

Do you mean during quizzes after learning new topics?

I feel like this mindset will be a detriment to your learning… The streak doesn’t matter. If you know the content, that’s really all that matters.

you should never have a 100% streak as that means you’re not learning, making mistakes and correcting them is part of learning.

To everyone, my 100% is because I’ve been studying chapter 1 through 3 on a book I’m on chapter 10 with. I’m realistic about mistakes. Once I get further, they will be inevitable. My point is I want an accurate count, and a method to correct any mistakes. I confess I made a mistake by mentioning my confidence, I see how it was confusing. It’s an effect of feeling judged over a typo, not about not feeling incapable not recalling a word or grammar point.
In any case, I want to know if I can correct the inaccuracies of the application. How about we talk about that instead of presuming my attitude and character?
TLDR:
I won’t be upset at all, in fact I’ll be grateful to improve if my mistake is legitimate and punted out. I’ll feel slighted, and is where I’m searching for a solution to fix, if or when a technical issue causes it and reflects on my overall assessment.

See below.

Honestly, I wouldn’t know either. I feel the same as you. The best I can do to help is suggest you talk to some of the “Mods” on Bunpro (I don’t know what to call them).

After you are told your answer is incorrect you can hit backspace and re-try the question. This then won’t count as a failed answer. If you accidentally advance to the next question then there is no way to undo that. At the bottom right of the review page there is a little keyboard symbol. If you click that then you can see a full list of hotkeys - you may find some of the other ones useful as well.

If you want to use your mouse then after you have inputted your answer there should be a button that says “undo” directly above the answer box. You can just click that to input a new answer without it counting as a fail.

Also, you can manually set the level of review items if you think you’ve knocked something back down by accident and want it to be at a higher level.

Hope that helps.
