I “get” the grammar point for なんか but I’m struggling with the actual counters? Should I just ghost these to hammer in the counter while I’m at it? Or look the counters up?
Right now I’m faced with
I have no idea what the counter reading is. I’ll probably end up intentionally ghosting this so I get a bit of SRS for the reading.
This also kinda happens to me with grammar points like まっ with the exceptions but at least the exceptions are listed in the grammar point itself (and in case of まっ, the exceptions are probably the thing that needs most practice).
That said, I do think Bunpro is occasionally a bit too quick to throw exceptions and conjugations into the mix. It does add challenge yes, but purely from a learning point of view, I think it would be helpful if most grammar points had very basic forms for the beginner level reviews. Especially early on in Bunpro, it often gives you a て form conjugation in one of the first items. It’s fine for later grammar because て form is such an important construction but especially in N5 stuff, I personally think it’d be better to show the base form first. But I’m so far off my original point that I’ll leave it at that.
