How to Cram SRS-items for only grammar or only vocab?

Hello everyone!

I found the SRS-specific Cram function but not, how to further distinguish between only grammar or only vocab in that specific SRS-level. E.g. I want to cram only all grammar-Seasoned, but no vocabs and vice versa.

How can I do that without manually picking every single grammar point?

there is no direct setting to do that as of yet, at least not that I am aware of, but I found what appears to be a workaround. You can start by adding the full category, for example SRS master. Then go to the vocab tab and add N5-N1 vocab (might take a while) then remove them using the right hand side that shows you how many items you have to cram. As you can see below, I started with 3758 items when selecting master at first. Then after adding the vocab it went over 10k. After removing all of the vocab I was left with 900 and something. It isnโ€™t perfect and I suspect that I have mastered vocab that is not from one of those 5 vocab decks, Iโ€™ll explore and see if there is another deck I can add and remove to just be left with my mastered grammar. However, it would be nice if BP could allow for that distinction at cram selection.

edit: I tried starting the cram to see which items had slipped through the cracks and it seems like the forecasted number of items was wrong as after removing just N5-N1 vocab I was left with 93 items to cram which is one more than my amount of mastered grammar (้ง…ๅผ somehow made it in as a vocab review). This might work for you until BP adds the function to add them separately

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation! This workaround looks promising, and I can live with a few vocabs here and there if it happens.
