I did not get to experience/possibly do not remember the free trial!

I signed up, and then forgot I had done so, or I did the free trial so long ago that I have no memory of how it worked. Either way, I’m not sure what the paid features are, but I am curious. I have also recently downloaded the mobile app, and I was enjoying the practices available to me there. I noticed I can’t practice anything on the desktop version. This is a little confusing–I prefer to use my phone anyway, but some practice lessons are locked, and I can’t tell if they will unlock with time or if it’s behind a paywall. Can someone tell me what paying for a subscription unlocks, and whether it’s the same between the mobile and desktop? If I sign up on mobile, will it also give me the same access on desktop? I’m sorry about being so clueless–I have tried to find answers on the website and unfortunately missed it if it is there.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct app? Because there’s no such thing as “locked practice lessons”. The proper name of the app should be “Bunpro Japanese SRS”.

Oh yes!! Ok what I had downloaded was a different app, so thank you for pointing that out! Gosh that clears up the confusion I had on the differences between the learning feature being available or not.

I think the issue is that a different app called “Bunpo” without the R shows up first when searching for Bunpro on the App Store. I had the same issue when I thought “might as well install it on my iPad” and accidentally installed Bunpo instead of Bunpro. The way I see it, they are clearly trying to bait Bunpro users into installing and subscribing to their app.

At least for me, Bunpro doesn’t even show up in the search results on the App Store. I can only install it by following the link on the website.
