You know when you encounter a word, or a grammar point, that makes you go, “yeah no I’m going to need about 6 months to remember that”. Points that you just can never seem to get into your long-term memory? Sometimes some words just don’t click, and others do. And it won’t be the same for all people.
A potential solution is quite simple; a self-set difficulty setting. Can just be easy/medium (the current default)/hard. The learning intervals would just be shorter/longer for easy/hard, that’s it. Maybe by 50% or so, up and down.
I would this this is quite easy to implement. Wondering if other people would also find this helpful…
