iOS app badges?

I love using iOS but it’s been like 2 years and the app still doesn’t support badges. I lost a 250+ day streak over the weekend because I thought I had done my reviews for the day, but apparently missed that I hadn’t. The number one thing I want the mobile app to do is make a very loud reminder to me daily that I have reviews. Ideally there should be a feature where a badge is added to my icon at midnight and doesn’t go away until I’ve done my daily reviews.

Is there any timeline for when this will be added to iOS?

I’ll also add I’ve a 15 year history of making mobile apps professionally, and I will happily add this feature for free if your team is too busy, provided you are willing to give me GitHub access. I suspect many members of the mobile community would be grateful for it to never again forget their daily reviews.

For what it’s worth, you’re allowed to manually set your streak when something like that happens:

Hey! It might be a bug, but you can easily fix it: On the website just open reset site and there provide the value you want to ‘manually set streak’ field. In the mobile app, you have to open settings, then open ‘reset’ and there provide the value you want to ‘manually set streak’ field. Should fix it

I know that’s not the point of your post, but I thought I’d mention it in case the streak thing has you down
