The Bunpro company overview page gives the full name of the company as BUNPRO株式会社. “株式” means stock, and “株式会社” means a stock corporation - is Bunpro a subsidiary of a stock corporation? Or is it just a cute thing to put on the company name to convey that it’s Japanese-language-focused?

Yes, Bunpro is registered as a 株式会社 here in Japan. We don’t have any parent or subsidiary companies.
