I would like to focus on vocabulary items where my accuracy is below 60% (for example), as these are the ones I find most challenging. Is this currently possible, or could it be considered as a feature in the future?
I would love this feature!
You could also introduce a minimum threshold for number of reviews to avoid including brand new items to cram (new words are more likely to have a low accuracy). This way we can focus on “middle of the pack” items that keep going up and down in the review queue
I agree, let me link my thoughts on this, as well.
You can find on your profile page statsitic tab and there troubled content. It is devided in two parts “This month” and “overall” - they are literally grammar and vocab with low acuracy. Under them is button “cram troubled content”. You cannot chose only vocab or how troubling for you it have to be in percentages but it’s pretty good.
Edit: oh pardon me. It is actually posivle to split grammar and vocab
Did not know about this, thank you! Still wish that there were more granularity here, and I do wish there were still the ability to re-cram difficult terms or set up filters in Cram, but this is a start!
My troubled content shows a single item. I still have trouble with lots other haha. So it would be great to be able to set the threshold ourselves.
when you do reviews do yo clean missed ones? if you quit without correcting them it will count s you didn’t do them at all I think, so it might not count twards percentages.
You can set up a cram by youself, you can bookmark things that you feel like you miss often. check later how you doing.
As you can see its been entire 2 months and I just cant get it
So lets set up a cram
It is not a grammar point but i can check two webide tabs and search
Or also you cansee all the things that are on beginner level
Try tinkering with it and adjusting it to your needs, It is not as easy as getting automatically said do this because you suck at this but I thinf it is a huge pro in bunpro over other aps like duo that takes your learning control completly away from you. I am sorry if I write with gramar or other mistakes. Its late and I am tired so I wanted ho help you today because next 2 days I won’t have time. I belive in you
The only issue with using only accuracy as a filter is that some words will forever have a low accuracy. If you take 10 attempts to get a word right at beginner, but after that you ace the word then it’ll have around a 60% accuracy. So some more advanced filtering in combination with accuracy might be helpful.
Interestingly because I set the default SRS level to be Adept 1, anything in Beginner is a list of words I struggle with.
Thats why there is “last month troubled content” if you broke accuracy on first 20 attemps and then 2 months later you ace it it will be only in overal not last month because last couple of tries your accuracy was good
Yes, I do. By the way, thank you for all your efforts in this post
Accuracy by itself will depend on the user. For example, I have set my vocab to drop SRS level by half every time I get it wrong. So my overall vocab accuracy may be higher than other users with the default setting, since after getting it wrong once, I will likely get it right several times right after.
That’s why being able to set cram based on both accuracy and review count would be key.
Maybe getting more hands on and going the bookmarking route would actually help with the memorization and learning process. But the convenience of a threshold cram would be unmatched haha.
Currently, I just trust the SRS and don’t cram at all. I hope that, eventually, I end up internalizing troubled content. Especially with the stricter SRS that I set some months ago.
Also using half, with ghosts. I wonder which schemes are most popular?
That’s exactly my problem as well. I would really appreciate having a setting that allows me to control at which accuracy it appears in troubled content.
