I added a vocabulary deck (the N5 one) and after doing maybe 200 or so lessons I decided I didn’t want yet another SRS for vocab (using Wanikani & Renshuu already), so I removed it and went back to just grammar but my review count is still inflated every day with the vocabulary, is there a way i can stop them showing up?

I only know we can remove them one by one by clicking on the item and then under your progress > three dots > “remove from reviews” but it sounds like you want to remove an entire deck… I’m not sure how to do that 🥲

You should be able to delete all reviews of vocabs by completely resetting your progress in your settings:
Just make sure you choose the correct one in the drop-down menu. Then press the button below.
Important: This completely resets your progress to zero regarding vocabs. So if you ever decide to learn vocabs again, you start by zero again. If you wanna keep your current progress and just get rid of them in your review, you might have to go into every single vocab level and manually remove them from your reviews (though I’m not sure, if that actually helps).
Edit: That also resets the imported progress of WaniKani, but should be get refreshed by the daily synch. If not, just synch it manually in your settings (might take a while) to get the current WaniKani status back. The progress line in the deck overview can be refreshed with that little icon next to the text information how much is learned in that deck, if you like to see those progress lines.

If you want to keep your progress and only remove reviews (not reset), you can bulk do it through units at least. Can also reset non N-decks this way

Thank you for this. I submitted a support ticket like two weeks ago asking how to get rid of my vocab reviews and no one responded to me. I found myself buried in like 5 hours of reviews a day and just needed to ditch the vocab.
