Is there a Bunpro kanji deck or Vocabulary is enough for N5?

Hello everyone, nice to meet you.

I’m actually preparing for N5 for this July.
I’m currently using Bunpro for Grammar and Vocabulary. And others tools like YouTube, Netflix and Spotify for comprehension.

I’ve made a list of grammar points I need to learn: the one from the Deck Bunpro Grammar N5.
I’ve also seen that you have to learn about 100 kanjis and 800 words.

So my question is: is there a Bunpro kanji deck? Does the vocabulary one includes kanjis?

Thank you

You don’t need to know many kanji for N5 (I think about 80). The N5 vocab deck will show you the kanji, but won’t necessarily force you to recognize them. Whether that’s enough I’m not sure, I did WK as well, but my stepfather swanned through n5 and n4 without bothering too much with Kanji (then he got stuck).

I’m more worried about the 1000 words to learn. than the 80 kanjis

It would be a dream if Bunpro had a kanji learning program. Unfortunately, for learning kanji, there’s no other option than to look outside Bunpro for now. For the N5 vocab, Bunpro is fantastic.

If you want to learn kanji more in depth, Kanji Garden or Wanikani are two ways to do it. However, at just 80 kanji, it is also very easy to learn them just by using free internet resources

If you want to learn kanji with vocab, you can try “fill in” type of card and every time write the word it asks you on the paper and pass it only if you get it right.
This way you’ll learn all the needed kanji for sure

I second Kanji Garden, WaniKani is more effective for me personally but Kanji Garden is a) cute b) effective and c) fairly cheap. Back when I was using it I loved filling out the poster of all the kanji you can learn with it.
