Is there a "critical" SRS level?

I’ve made an observation: I tend to mess up items on SRS level 8. A critical SRS level? Or maybe… a cursed one?

So now I’m wondering: Is that just a coincidence? Is it that I just seem to forget everything at exactly that point? Do you guys ever mess up, too, or is it just me!?! Apparently, SRS level 8 means it’s been 1 month since the last review (If that’s still how it is currently).

Who knows, maybe that’s just selection bias :slight_smile: But it happened often enough for me to notice :smiley:

Here’s my question: Have you guys noticed any particular SRS level that seems to give you more trouble than others?
And how were these time intervalls originally determined? And have they ever been changed?

I think above level 9 are critical ones. I forget many points after level 9 :sweat_smile:
This might be because there’s a lot grammar points you have learnt past level 9, if you’re keeping up with not getting red in stats especially for reviews/day.
The cure for me might be abusing cram :smile:
