If this is not a feature, I propose it’d be a great addition.
Spaced repetition is a technique to memorize information.
Unless you have the goal to remember the stories (you mean the reading practice?) word-by-word, I don’t really see why you’d want to have that inside the SRS.
Or am I missing something?
I think it’d be to better phrase it as randomly choosing a story so I don’t miss anything.
I’m not sure if I am misunderstanding, so please correct me if I am wrong.
If you want an SRS to take you back to the stories so you can learn all the vocab and grammar contained within them, you don’t need this. This is because the reading on Bunpro is sourced from the lessons. You can toggle the highlight grammar point to see the new grammar if needed.
If you select an N5 story, it will contain only N5 vocabulary and grammar, which you will most likely already have in your review SRS if you are working them in tandem.
I think it may be counter productive to focus on memorizing the stories, there may be vocabulary that doesn’t suit your needs, such as the reading material I have is related to crime and psychology, but I don’t need to mine this extensively as it wouldn’t be useful in conversations with typical native speakers.
Having seen a few of your other forum posts, I would recommend focusing on the grammar and vocabulary for your level and on the output of it. Choose a grammar point that you have recently covered and write/speak a few sentences using that rule, with the vocabulary that you have picked up. I also think that when you start your immersion journey youll start to understand the best route of learning for yourself. What works for one person here will not work for another, whilst it is good to research the best ways to learn, it can become counter productive and it may be best just to throw yourself into things and learn from personal experience
