What keyboards do you use and would suggest to use. Are there any must avoid ones?
I just use Gboard with flick. Easy to switch languages and quick to type. Also easy to switch to handwriting to practice and it’s pretty accurate I’ve found
I also use flick mode in GBoard to input in Japanese, and find it super convenient. How do you enable the handwriting mode though? I didn’t know that was possible!

The basics. On pc, I use Microsoft IME Japanese. On mobile, I enable Japanese as an input language in the settings, so it’s just Samsung’s own keyboard.
It’s been a while but itd probably be under add keyboard. Hold the language switch key to get directly to keyboard language settings> add keyboard>日本語> 手書き
Then you can cycle through it just like the English keyboard by tapping that language key
Or even just tapping on the Japanese keyboard you already have will take you to it too apparently. Don’t have to go into add keyboard
