Oh 100% lol it’s how I got back at night. Had to make it to Reading to get home.
This is no longer a JLPT thread, it’s a “Brits complain about public transportation” thread
What surprises me most is that there seems to be a disproportionate number of brits here . Bunpro seems to me quite famous around London.
Meanwhile, I’m over here in the Southeast US, where trains practically do not exist, and I’m just like
We don’t get to have public transportation where I’m from: only cars. That’s a big reason why I’ll never get to take the JLPT because it’s a 5+ hours long drive to the nearest places that offer it.
Thankfully I live close enough to Chicago that I can take public transport all the way to the test center.
I took N2 this weekend and it was way harder than expected. Honestly not sure if I passed but I just gotta pray.
The format of the exam is often slightly different to practice tests. Just one or two questions fewer or extra in some parts. I’m really hoping that the “extra questions” are “for research purposes” and definitely not going to be scored, because they are ones I just guessed for on this basis
Me too! I somehow felt very confident in the final portion but that was after I completely bombed one of the earlier portions. Wanted to go to the corner of the room and suck my thumb lol.
Yeah as someone who got most their practice through WaniKani and Bunpro, listening is always the hardest. The kanji section is beyond easy, at least.
discreetly warming this thread up because rumor has it results are announced on 22th january…
After waiting a long time for results … I’m quite happy to wait longer and don’t want to know the extent of how much further work will be required to have a chance of passing next time
Oh wow that’s earlier than I thought. At least I will know whether to buy some N2 textbooks when I travel next in Feb
I’m at the point where I’m really eager to see the results and also really scared because i always have it in the back of my mind that i failed
i wonder if i can continue my streak of insecurity redeemed:
2019 n4: was sure i failed - passed
2022 n3: was sure i failed - passed
2023 n2: hmmm… - ?
because of this its the most anticipated result of all tests to me.
The announcement of date of results is up on the website!

Next monday! I’m nervous already!
I think this might work for others who want to know the exact time in their location?
Thank you! Now i will need to stay up till 1am Sunday night
Ohh is that today? Yeah, you should go to sleep unless you’re planning on staying up for another couple of hours - you don’t stand a chance.
Were the results released already? I thought it was later
