JLPT Nx furigana

I’d love to see the option to only display JLPT level Nx and up furigana. So like, if I know N3 kanji, only N2 and above furigana would be shown.

Would it be possible to implement an option to select the JLPT level above which furigana will be shown?

Why not just use hover?

I understand and empathize with the desire. Which Kanji is at which level is kinda best guess though. There is no official list so I’m not sure it would be possible to implement satisfactorily.

Interesting idea actually. I’ll look into whether this is possible or not. While there are no ‘official’ lists, the JLPT kanji lists are far more reliable than the vocab ones at least.

If you’re considering that, could you also consider the kanji at grade school levels? (at least 1st-6th grade) I think that this way would really help those trying to jump into native material sooner, as books tend to follow the school kanji system over JLPT.(obvious exception being Japanese textbooks)
