For the last month or so I’ve been running into this issue where verbs that I haven’t yet studied don’t show in parentheses on mobile like they do on Desktop. For example, I get a sentence like “I didn’t call the police.” Normally, the verb “to call” is shown in parentheses in Japanese next to the sentence. This does work on desktop, but not on mobile. I’ve stopped using the mobile app because of this.
Just curious if anyone else has this problem?
Have you updated your app version?
Also try updating your data under Settings > General > Reset App Data.
That should hopefully fix it!
I actually realised what was happening here. Basically I had mastered these verbs and had it set up not tell me the verb. The problem is I learned a more general meaning for the verb and not the specific meaning the example sentences used. For example:
I know deru, but not with the meaning “to attend” so I assumed it should have told me the verb.
