This yojijukugo was popularised by Natsume Soseki. I wasn’t aware of it before making this post, so I’m a bit fuzzy on its exact meaning, but it seems to represent a sort of flow state in which you are so in tune with the world around you/ whatever it is you are pursuing that you basically reach englightenment and detach from your self completely. In other words, being locked in.
Jisho has it down as “a selfless devotion to justice” but I’ve seen a few people claiming that’s a really bad translation. If anyone’s more familiar with this expression’s use then I welcome any corrections lol
