Carpe diem, really. Though some might stick to my memory from time to time.

If I commit them to memory it’s typically not intentionally, that’s usually if they stick out. It might be a good idea to start building a deck out of the games, though…

Good to see you using my little trick to keep the furigana centered. It looks a lot cleaner than when the kanji get super spaced out.

If all goes well, I’ll be taking a trip to Japan next summer!

If you can, try going during another season. Summers in Japan are brutal given you’ll be walking everywhere if using public transportation. It also rains a lot around June - July. That’s of course if you’re just going to visit, and not to stay there for a while.

売り場 (うりば) = Sales Department.

Yeah, I would like to go in another season, but I’m going with friends and that seems like the best time for everyone. We’ll only be there for a bit over a week, so I won’t be able to see everything I want to, but if this is my only chance to go to Japan, I’m taking it.

I see. In that case, stay hydrated because you guys are gonna do a lot of walking in the heat and/or the rain. Thankfully there are vending machines pretty much everywhere, where you can by drinks, so that won’t be much of a problem (except for taking care of the bottles).

Also, if you don’t have room for an umbrella in your baggage, most people buy the transparent ones that can be bought at any コンビニ, like 7-11. They’re relatively cheap.

Wishing you the best. Japan is awesome!!
