Lightning mode feature request (see previous question)

I love lightning mode when I have a lot of reviews built up and want to get through them in a timely fashion.

Some particular sentences (something that isn’t super basic for me), I would like to review it before moving on (whereas other simple sentences I’m happy moving on without re-reviewing). It would be great to have a peak at the last successful answer so I can read/listen to the sentence.

This would give the benefits of speed that lightning mode brings, but also a chance to slow down when needed (by looking at the last successful answer).

Would this be helpful to other people?

I’m imagining another icon at the top of the review page to go back a slide (only visible in lightning mode) to see the correctly submitted answer.

Yeah sometimes I miss anki’s infinate back space. sometimes I pass a card and then 3 cards later I think “wait what?” and have to try to find it with the search.

I agree, this would be convenient. Pressing the left arrow key to flip back through cards just like how you can quickly re-review a concept when in the Learning phase.
