Mark as Mastered and Master+ Mode

If I have Master+ Mode on and I mark an item as Mastered, will it come back in six months or do I have to get to Mastered naturally for it to be part of Master+ Mode?

What I’m trying to achieve here is sort of an ignore button. You could do that before by setting a word to Mastered but with Master+ Mode, it might come back.

It will come back…

Yours is an interesting use-case we hadn’t considered before.
We have plans for a proper Skip (ignore) button, but it keeps getting pushed further and further back.

Will keep an eye out for more Skip/Ignore-type requests.
We can adjust priorities accordingly

Petition to be able to manually mark individual words as Mastered+ instead of all words. Then you can keep pushing the skip button further into the backlog. (But actually, that sounds like a useful feature too).

I usually get like 15 reviews a day and now because of Master+ there’s suddenly 130 scheduled for today. There’s a lot of grammar points I don’t really need to or feel like reviewing, but overall I think Master+ is very useful and I want to keep using it.

I’d like to be either able to ignore specific grammar points, or basically have the review interval increase past this constant Master+ interval, so this grouping of reviews would basically take care of itself.

It’d also be handy to introduce some randomness element, so that if I take care of my 130 reviews all at once, they don’t all come back on the exact same day half a year later.

If/when FSRS is implemented, I imagine it wouldn’t be a set 6 months anymore
