Usually Bunpro helps you during the exercises to get the nuance right, for example if you write なんで and it wants どうして, it will tell you to use a more polite version. This happens also with the words vocabulary, e.g. 危[あぶ]ない and 危険[きけん], I love this but I’d like to also have such comparisons during the study, is there a way to obtain it? Or some way to search for it? Instead of waiting for the exercise and test both of them to read it, which is what I’m currently doing.
There’s no way to see those warnings as a list, as they are specific to the grammar point/incorrect answer (and sometimes even the sentence/question itself), however you may be interested in the “related” grammar section at the bottom of grammar point pages, which explain the similarities and differences between grammar points. Often this information is in the main body of the grammar point writeups as well (I believe this is the case for なんで・どうして・なぜ, for example).
We currently have no feature like this for vocabulary, although it is something that has been requested before. As you can imagine, it would require a lot of thought and work to do well for the many thousands of vocab items we have.
In the future, we are hoping to make our teaching of grammar points more holistic, so relationships like this are clearer from the start. This is something we’ve been thinking about a lot recently and one of our goals for 2026, so keep an eye out for that as well!
