Negation “Dzu” is missing as an N4 grammar, even though its derivative “Dzu ni” exists in N3.

Are you talking about ずに? That grammar point also has examples using just ず. How is ず by itself different?

I know that Dzu by itself as a generic negation that’s an honorific form of “Nai” exists, and is the basis for Dzu Ni but is separate from it.
