N2 and N1 Vocab Cloze (Update) Aug-29-2024

Hi Everyone!

This is just a brief update post to let you all know that both the N2 and N1 vocab decks are now ready to be used as Cloze/manual-fill-in.

Naturally you will be able to use whichever type of review best suits your learning style, but as always, we recommend the manual style in order to get the most practice possible producing words from memory.

Remember, there are two ways to change your review settings. The first is within your profile settings (here).

Selecting both Manual and Fill In will enable cloze. However, as the note at the bottom of this screenshot states, settings within your individual decks will take precedence. To alter individual deck settings, you can do it from within the deck page itself.

In addition, the audio for these sentences (Microsoft Azure AI) is now also available! :hugs:

We hope that these additions make study easier for everyone, and encourage you to let us know through either the forums or official feedback avenues if you notice anything strange with any of the sentences!

We will have more additional decks coming soon with extra vocabulary not usually included in the N-level tests, but nonetheless common in everyday life. Of course, they will all include the professionally written example sentences that you have all come to expect!

I hope you have all had a fantastic week, and are preparing to have an even better weekend! :palm_tree:

All the best,
The Bunpro team

Sweet! Thank you Bunpro team. I send you, I think a month ago, two reports about some sentence that the audio wouldn’t match with the text sentence. Still haven’t gotten any reply, tho…

Niiice ! Still would be nice if some native audio would be possible at some point  That’s one of the biggest draw to bunpro for me, I’m using Azure AI to generate audio for text, but the native audio from Bunpro is always a nice thing !

Hello! Thank you for all your hard work as always.

I just want to ask why is is that many of my vocab reviews come up with one word vocab question even though there are sentences listed on the vocab page and I have all my settings to fill in and manual? I know for most of the A vocab and specialised vocab you haven’t got to making sentences and audio so that would obviously be the case, but it also happens with some of the vocab I’ve learnt through the N decks learning pathway. Example of the top of my head is かつて N1 adverb.

Thanks for your help!
