It’s a full fledged position. The only worry we would have about being over qualified is that there are probably higher paying jobs out there for that individual, although those jobs are very likely nowhere near as flexible/work life balance focused as we are.
Nice, I’ll let them know! Flexibility/work life balance would be a big point. Another detail, do you prefer a Japanese or Western style for the resume? Although I suppose with newer companies like your those are somewhat merging? It looks like the “cover letter” is essentially the questions you posted.
I almost prefer Japanese cover letters because all I do is write a heap of set phrases with maybe one actual sentence I wrote wedged in there. No actual questions to answer.
Personally, I prefer the western style just because it allows people to showcase some of their personality, as opposed to the boilerplate Japanese style where every resume looks the same.
