Sorry I’m late on. I’ve had a really busy day at school today; but that’s a good thing because I love spending time with my students.

Tokushima Prefecture
Tokushima Ramen 徳島らーめん
In one of many ramen dishes in our race, Tokushima ramen has three categories: white, brown and yellow. The white is a tonkotsu (a creamy soup made by boiling pig bones) with white soy sauce, the yellow is a similar idea, but made by boiling chicken bones, and the brown is made with dark soy sauce and brown noodles. It is topped with meat, vegetables and seafood.
Naruto Kintoki 鳴門金時
Naruto Kintoki is a kind of sweet potato grown in Tokushima Prefecture and is known for its sweet extra taste and fluffy interior. It is especially used for making sweets, but is versatile in many kinds of cooking. The name comes from the bright, golden colour and the city of Naruto.
Dekomawashi でこまわし
Another famous food served on a skewer, dekomawashi, is various ingredients such as potato, tofu, soba dumplings and konnyaku. It is generally grilled over hot coals for the extra flavour, and topped with a sweet Miso.
