This does not quite look right. Did you maybe mix up the digits while adding and we should have ended up at only 86173, i.e. 70 lower, or did you actually do 321 reviews?
86258 (community total) + 26 (my reviews) = 86284
I fixed the total, pretty sure the guy entered in 85992 instead of 85922 in the calculator
86284(community total)+ 60(my total)= 86344
86344 (community total) + 180 (my weekend reviews) = 86524
It was my birthday over the weekend, so I’m glad I had time and willingness to finish my reviews!
Happy birthday to you!
86524 (community total)+32 (my reviews)= 86556
86556 (community total) + 80 (my reviews) = 86636
86636 (community total) + 48 (my reviews) = 86684
86684 (community total) + 10 (my reviews) =86694
Indeed that happened, thanks for the fix!
86694 (community total) + 48 (my reviews) = 86742
86742 (community total) + 100 (my reviews) = 86842
86 894 (community total) + 230 (my reviews in the last two weeks) = 87 124
There was a 0 day that erased my 311 days Study streak, then a few more because I stopped caring. Back to square 1…
87124 (community total) + 36+45+58+58 (197 for July 1-4) = 87321
87321(community total) + 35 = 87356
87356 (community total) + 19 (my reviews) = 87375
87375 (community total)+ 32 (my reviews)=87407
We’ve arrived in Shizuoka!
Shizuoka Prefecture
Hamamatsu Gyoza 浜松餃子
Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka is famous for its Gyoza, small dumplings with a meat and vegetable filling. Decided by the Hamamatsu Gyoza Society (no, I’m not making that up!), To truly be a Hamamatsu gyoza, it must have been made within Hamamatsu by someone who has lived there for three years or more. They are generally served with a generous helping of bean sprouts and go well with chilli oil, white vinegar and soy sauce.
Eel 鰻
Eel is very popular in Shizuoka, usually on rice. However, I’m going to use this segment to tell you about Shizuoka’s famous souvenir, eel pie. This is my favourite souvenir in all of Japan, a sweet, crispy pastry covered in a sugary coating. Now… I always thought that the name was because they are in the vague shape of an eel, which is true, but what I didn’t realise until eating them for a couple of years, is that they actually have eel in them! I can’t taste it but hey ho, it’s a fun fact.
Izutakahara Beer 伊豆高原ビール
Made with 100% barley malt, this beer has been brewed in Shizuoka for 25 years and is loved by the locals! They have their own restaurant in Shizuoka, where you can drink the beer with various foods that the beer serves as a good accompaniment to. It’s famous for its kaisendon (fresh fish rice bowl).
It’s 6,670 yen to get to Nagoya, the capital of Aichi Prefecture, so our next target is 93,720 yen. Let’s go!
87407 (community total) + 27 (my reviews) = 87434
