Phantom Word - かける?

Wondering if anyone can comment on the use of the word 「かけます」 in the example sentence for「円」below:

I’m struggling to find information about 「かけます」anywhere. It seems like it’s the ~ます form of 「描ける」、but 「描ける」doesn’t exist in Bunpro’s vocab list; it doesn’t appear on Jisho or Wiktionary, either.

The information I’ve been able to find about the word indicates that it is typically written using the kanji stem, and not with kana alone. Does anyone have any experience with the word? Is it often written as in the above example, or is this a mistake on the example text’s part?

Take note of the English translation: Can you draw a neat circle?

The word is in potential form, the original verb is is 書く/描く.

That tracks, I haven’t hit the lessons on potential form yet. Thanks much!
