Please help me understand why my answers are incorrect

These questions are from 新完全マスターN1文法. I would appreciate if anyone could explain these to me.

I chose 2 but the correct answer is 4 according to the textbook. I’m a bit confused about what the difference is between the two.

A. に足る

I chose B but the correct answer is A. Once again, I don’t understand the difference.

Since I have become severely ill, this is not the time for work.
Since I haven’t even had a lover yet, getting married is out of the question.

どころではない feels like more of a practical matter, something doesn’t make sense in the circumstance, hence “out of the question” and “this is not the time for”. But the fact that the person is speaking seriously isn’t a practical impediment to laughing, as opposed to say laughing when you’re trying to be quiet.

Rude comments that don’t bear reading are common on online news
The bosses statements are insuficient to answer questions, and don’t stand up to criticism.

For the second question 堪える can mean “to endure” so I translated the above examples as “don’t bear reading” and “don’t stand up to criticism.”, whereas “doesn’t stand up to satisfaction” doesn’t make much sense.

Just my speculation
