So, if you continue to a certain point in your japanese studies you will come across 2 pluralizing suffixes regularily:
たちor 達 in its kanji form. As a rather neutral to express that something is within a group.
(eg. 私たち for we, or お前達 for you(plural))
ら is essentially the same just more casual.
However I recently came across たちゃ in the romancing saga 3 ost.
One track is called おれたちゃ海賊
Translation
(We are Pirates)
and that is what they sing.
So I personally reckon たちゃ is a rather crude shorthand for たちは、but could not find any information about this in the net, so I thought I’d ask you lovely people.
Do you know about たちゃ and can confirm / debunk my conjunction?
