Is there any mode here or other resource where I can see sentences in English and practice trying to translate them to Japanese?

Would you want to type out a whole sentence in Japanese, and have it marked pass/fail by the tool?
I think nobody has questions like that, because there are too many ways to correctly translate a given English sentence.
DuoLingo and such have questions where you just arrange the parts to form the translation.
Alternatively, I’m sure it’s possible to use LLM to mark the translation, but then you get into the whole argument of trusting an LLM.
How about just using Bunpro’s fill-in questions, with the translation hint shown by default?
You can read the English translation first, think of a way to say it in Japanese, then read Bunpro’s Japanese prompt and fill in the missing word.

I believe someone was working on an app that allows what you’re discussing, using an LLM.
It was posted in the WK forums maybe a year ago?
Think it was only for like N5level at that time though.
Not sure how much it progressed.
Either way it’s an interesting conversation for sure!
