I’m restarting bunpro after sometime and would like to know everyone’s preferred deck settings they think work best?
I’d like to try bunpro through different methods. Also does anyone know if it’s possible to add words to a preferred deck?
My goal is to read japanese, so I have vocabulary deck set to translate + manual, so I only need to enter english translation, but before I hit enter I say the word for myself anyway. I have grammar set to reading + reading&grade, and before revealing the answer I say the sentence for myself and translate the whole thing, than grade myself.
I treat Bunpro as secondary resource, so I don’t exactly learn much here, it is more of a testing site for me. I go over 1-2 grammar points per day, or I look at next page of vocabulary deck and add words I know. My main learning resource is WaniKani, since it is better structured for vocabulary and it also teaches kanji in detail.
As for adding words, I don’t think you can, but I have seen some mention of planned feature along those lines. Try just typing the word to search box, you may find it anyway.
