Putting Cards on "Pause" for a While

I’ve reached a point in my N4 deck where I’ve got a fair number of cards with kenjougo and sonkeigo grammar points. I recognize that I will eventually need to learn these different levels of formality. However, I don’t think it’s helping me to encounter them right now. My reading/media consumption is so simple, and it’s so easy to get the general gist of what’s going on when there happens to be an occasional kenjougo/sonkeigo phrase, I don’t really need them at the moment. And they’re really starting to fill up my reviews.

Is there a way that I can put those cards “on hold” for a set term, like for three or four months? I could tinker with the level setting (I could always just mark them “mastered” and then they would disappear, or to “expert” and they’d come back eventually), but I really just want them to go on hold for a while and then come back at the “beginner” level they are now.

Is there a way to do that?

You could go to the specific points you want to reset and remove them from your reviews. Then, when you’re ready you could add them back and and even reset their progress.

I was in the exact same situation, the honorifics and humble ones from N4 started really getting in my way of learning properly, so I ended up getting the Keigo deck (this should contain most of the related vocab and grammar) and set all to mastered. This way I can just unmaster them in one go whenever I feel like I want to come back to these points. There were also some additional vocab and grammar that for some reason wasn’t in the deck, so I created a copy of the Keigo deck and added those manually for the same treatment.
