Hello, I’ve just begun utilizing the vocab decks recently and have noticed that there are only two buttons available when grading an item using the Fill-in Review Type: 1- Hard and 2- Good . I’ve tried pressing Enter multiple times to mark an item as incorrect, but it doesn’t seem to work. Could someone clarify whether I should press ‘Hard’ for an item that I couldn’t recall and also press it for an item that I find hard to remember? I’m normally used to using all four buttons with Anki.
Thank you all!

I had already modified my anki to pass or fail system before this so I actually forgot Anki originally has more buttons. Anyway it’s a decision only you can make. Personally, if I don’t immediately recognize/recall it and it’s reading I fail it because obviously I didn’t know it well enough. Even if I would’ve gotten it 10 seconds later, I mark it as fail for not happening sooner. This really speeds up reviews too.
If it was hard for you to remember, I think that answers your question 🫠
but different people have different levels of leniency so depends on you.
