Question about the の in のはずがない

I’m talking about this:

The grammar structure is: Noun +

is therefore correct and isn’t. However, the site tells me that is also an accepted answer, which seems weird to me because it’s missing the の.

According to the grammar structure, the の should still be required since you’re only changing the ない into ありません.

So my question is this, can I omit the の if I use the polite negative and if yes, why is that?

Correct!!
Correct??

Hey!

It was a mistake, the の has to be there.
It has been fixed. :+1:

By the way, in written language, you can sometimes see だった used between はず and noun/なadjective instead of の. Though の is still used more often.
