Ranking of “must do” formality

なきゃ/なくちゃ

I agree but personally wouldn’t mix きゃ/ちゃ with ます because it’s like mixing casual with polite. I might be wrong but that’s how I think of it.

Would you also agree that everything above (and including) なくてはダメ is too informal to say to a stranger?

Where would you なければ + X on here? My guess would be most formal because it’s so long. Although I’ve seen it used with ダメ so maybes it’s equal in formality to なくては?

Yeah I would put it like this on the end of the list:
しなければダメ (Honestly I’ve never heard this before)
しなければいけない
しなければいけません
しなければならない
しなければなりません
