I just started the オノマトペ deck and had a question:
Is there any way to organize reviews by most commonly used words?
For example: I see the “Frequency” section for each word and some are as low as 3,000.
Would there be a function to learn words in order from most common to least common, selecting a specific area of frequency? (Novels, Anime, General, etc…)
Apologies if this didn’t need its own topic, any help is greatly appreciated.

if you go to the page for the deck, where all the words are listed, and click the settings wheel icon on the right side just above the table, there’s an option for exactly that

Sorry to revive a solved thread, but is it a bug that I’m still seeing “General - Top 1,700” as frequency in my learn queue when I changed the setting to “Anime”?
Or does Bunpro perhaps throw them in no matter what you select?
When it lists the frequency on a vocab, it’ll list it’s highest frequency no matter the category. The order of the deck will follow what you select but the vocab itself will still show you whatever category it has the highest ranking in. In your case, its more common in general frequency and less common in anime specifically. If you click that number it should show you how it scores in all the categories. Like this word. It shows Netflix ranking on info page. When I click I can see it’s much more common in both Netflix and anime. If I’m watching anime it’ll probably show up. Less likely in general conversation yeah. So if I sort by anime or Netflix it’ll be earlier in my deck, and if I sort by general it’ll move to the bottom/end of my deck. But it’ll still list whichever category it’s most commonly found in (Netflix in this case)

I have the frequency set to “Anime” and the setting says “Learn words from most to least used in the context you select.”
If that were true, wouldn’t the first lesson be the #1 most used word in Anime? I’m still seeing the Anime number being in the hundreds…
That’s available in this deck. Of the words in your selected deck, it’ll order them that way. But it’s not going to list the #1 anime word of its not even in the deck. It’s not assigning numbers to words in that deck. It’s ordering them based on the number they already have . If the highest ranking anime frequency word in that deck is 300, the following word you learn will be after that number. Could be 301, could be 632. After that could be 633 or 790 or any number after. Depends on what’s in the deck. All the frequency order does is order them from most used to least. Smallest number to biggest as best it can with what it’s given.
And a frequency in the hundreds is still a really high ranking word. Anything under 6k is pretty common and under 3k you’ll see basically everywhere
