Hi All!
Hope everyone is back into their regular routine for the week and chipping away at their reviews! Today I would like to announce a new feature on Bunpro that is part of a new style-guide we will be using going forward. Reading passage artwork!
The Feature
Some of you may have noticed already, but we now have artwork for all of the individual readings in the N5 and N4 categories of Reading Practice. This artwork has been produced in line with the style that we have used in our JLPT mock exams, and have been made to make the readings a bit more interactive, and to give the reader context clues about what is going on in the passages.
We are hoping that this will make the overall experience a bit more enjoyable, and encourage users to continue to test their knowledge on the large range of reading passages that we have for each level.
Each image can be clicked on to enlarge, and there are a mix of images that are either displayed as a single picture, or a short storyboard of up to 4 images.
Although only N5 and N4 are completed at the moment, all reading passages for all levels will have accompanying artwork eventually.
Further Development
As mentioned earlier, these images are made to fit the style of the current images that we use in our JLPT mock tests. In addition to this, we will be continuing to use this style moving forward into several new projects that are aiming to increase cohesiveness of the overall learning experience even further, and encourage additional use of reading materials at a variety of levels.
Just as a sneak peek of what we have coming up, here is an image that is going to be used within a project that we will be releasing this year. Although we have used color here, I will leave it up to your imagination to decide what the project might actually be!
