Recommanded books for mock exams

Hello great community,

I’m going to try N5 in July 2026.
I’m actually working with Bunpro, Tae Ki’ms grammar, Japan sensei app for kanji and vocabulary instead of doom scrolling (highly recommend it!)

I will do the mock exams on Bunpro but, wanted to know if you have other recommendations about mock exam books?

There are two official ones on the JLPT website which can also be bought in bookstores/online. You can print them from the website if you prefer to work on paper. Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Official Practice Workbook | JLPT Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

I bought this for N4 and liked it: officially it’s not a practice test because of how it’s divided, but it had information about all the parts of the test. You can access the listening through an app. (It’s a link from Amazon Mexico because I live in Mexico)

Also, YouTube has a huge amount of listening practice. For grammar and vocabulary review, I like Tomo Sensei’s channel.
