Repeat Vocab

This sentence appeared twice in a review session just now:

I can’t be totally sure, but I think they were both ghosts (I have reviews ordered in “ascending” order, and the second one was definitely a ghost!)

By the way, one case I can think of where vocab might be repeated twice legitimately is when getting a low-level card wrong (I mean “Beginner 1” or “Ghost 1”) then further reviews being loaded into the session when you hit the next hour, so the same card might then get loaded back into the session

I’ve also just had “ラップ” twice only a few cards apart, but it only appears once on the “summary” page after completing the review session

It’s an easy word, and I have 100% accuracy for the word, so I can’t imagine that either of them was a ghost

EDIT: Turns out there are 3 cards on Bunpro for “ラップ” (4 if you count “ＬＡＰ”), but I have only added 1 of them to my reviews, so just to confirm that that isn’t the reason for the duplicate review!

Not sure if it’s expected butに比べて Shows up in N4 Vocab, then in N3 Grammar lessons.

I don’t know if you changed something but I had a strange behaviour on this ghost grammar point ように-ような.
In the same review, I think I slashed the ghost, then later on it came back as ghost 3, I got it right so it become ghost 4, but after the review when I went to the item, it was not a ghost anymore.

Just for your reference, there are huge numbers of grammar points which appear as vocab too, so it could be worth just searching for all grammar points, rather than us manually reporting each one!

I actually don’t mind having the grammar/vocab dupes . It’s a good way to have 2 different types of review for the same items!

Actually, same here
The only problem for me is say if you get the vocab one wrong, look up the related grammar point and learn from that, then in the very next session get the grammar one right because of the extra study. You might end up with an inflated sense of how good you are at that grammar point because you’d have got it wrong if the vocab extra reviews didn’t exist. Still, extra practice through extra reviews could help with that, so …

Not sure if it’s relevant (probably not, because it doesn’t normally appear after review sessions with duplicates in), but after finishing the reviews, I got this popup:

Looks like you have 3 Ghosts for that Grammar Point and the SRS level of it is already low.
I’ll keep hunting!

Around 2 weeks ago, I changed the setting “Grammar Ghost Reviews” to “on”, instead of “minimal”. Could be related.
