Is there a way to adjust the prioritization of reviews? In other words can I configure Bunpro to prioritize grammar reviews over vocab?
Are you talking about doing it like this, where you only review the grammar? Or are you thinking of something different?
I think I know what @brethelm is asking for.
Basically, when you click on “Review”, it would be really nice if it could be configured so that the default review (which reviews everything) gave priority to grammar (based on some setting).
Ideally, it would not be to the extent that you complete all your grammar before getting any vocab items, but rather it would give more grammar items than vocab items, or split things 50/50, until you clear your grammar queue out.
The way it seems to work today is that all the items get tossed into a big pile, with no weight or preference, so if you have 1000 vocab items to review and 10 grammar items, you only review a grammar item once every hundred or so review items, on average, which means they start to pile up.
Not a problem if you have roughly equal numbers, but if, like me, you mainly use BunPro to learn grammar, and secondarily use it to help review and reinforce vocab (synced over from WaniKani), then you easily pile up tons of vocab and never get to do your grammar review unless you explicitly choose to do just grammar separately.
I find myself wishing this was a thing quite often, but I do well enough by relying on the “Grammar Only” option in combination with a general Review.
