Review is asking grammar that wasn't taught in the lesson

I’ve just started bunpro and am trialling it out before deciding to purchase. I’d say I’m around N3 level, but trying out some N5 lessons/reviews to get a hang of it. I read through the い-adjective lesson, then got my reviews:

Am I missing something? Because past tense/negative of い-adjectives isn’t covered anywhere in the lesson? The adjective’s い is coloured blue in the lesson, which suggests it’s conjugated, but nothing else? Hoping I’m missing something because if the later grammar lessons are this thin I don’t think it’s worth paying for

Thanks

Hi noogin87, that’s odd, as there are separate grammar points for present and past i-adjectives as well as negative past. Did you add the grammar point manually or did you use the study function?

Check which grammar point has been added to your reviews by going to Content-bunpro grammar order - and then scrolling through the different points. The added grammar point should have a red bunpro logo to indicate it is an active grammar point, is it the one you got the review on?

Oddities aside, when it comes to bunpro overall, I find it to be an excellent tool for repeating grammar points and finding “weaknesses” that need to be strengthened, especially around the N3 levels when there are so many different grammar points that are very similar, but not quite. Also, the community is very nice

I looked for this sentence in all of the N5 lessons and didn’t see it, and the closest thing was a sentence for 暑くない so I think this could’ve been an error where the example sentence is correct but they programmed the review sentence to use the past tense.

For the record though, there are a lot of reviews in the later stages which compound grammar points so the reviews won’t always use only the grammar point taught in the lesson (for example, one sentence might use it in present tense, another in past tense, and another in the passive form)
