Review sentences that are not example sentences

Is there any reason why you have review sentences that are not listed as example sentences? Should they be reported as bugs?

There are amy instances of these, but for now I can only give one as an example.
一人でしないでください。 is a review of grammar item 65, but it is not an example sentence. Before anyone mentions this, I am not confusing it with 一人にしないでください。, which is an example sentence.

A related question is whether a discrepancy of formality between example and review sentences should be reported. For example: grammar item 76 has an example sentence (255) in plain form, while when reviewed it asks for the polite version. Or is this perhaps just some automatic randomisation so people learn plain and polite form?

Thank you for your question. Sometimes we make an edit to an example sentence and fail/forget to make the same changes to the review (study) question (e.g. the ないでください sentences). However, for grammar points that use verb conjugations or different levels of politeness, we will often change them up in the review questions to be different from example sentences and so that you can practice using different forms. We try to be as thorough as possible, but sometimes a few changes will not be consistent across the board and we apologize for this. Thank you for pointing these out to us so that we could get them fixed. Cheers!

All right, thanks! I’ll report any study questions I come across which don’t have an example sentence counterpart and leave the differences in politeness be.

You might want to find a way to remove the duplication on the backend so that this can’t happen. If that’s feasible given the differences of course.
